Hello, everyone! Summer is finally here and I am officially a Senior! For this blog post, I'd like to show the most common types of shoes and maybe give a tip or two on them. Let's begin!
- Heels
- Pumps- formal, dressy; Generally for formal events.
- Stilettos- fancy; Generally for parties or fancy dances; (You don't wanna walk all day in them!)
- Wedge- still dressy, can be formal, and a LOT more comfortable
- Platform- the most comfortable one, though it does not extenuate your legs as well
2. Sneakers
- Converse, Skate Shoes, Keds, and Vans
- They are all similar to each other, but each has a slightly different look
- All for casual wear, although sometimes, when matched well, can become dressy
3. Flip Flops
- Self-explanatory; casual, summer wear
4. Peep Toe Shoes
- Can be heels, flats, or sandals
- Can be fancy, or just casual
- Paint your toe nails to match your outfit is very cute in the summer time
5. Boots
- Combat Boots- creates a really cute bohemian look when matched well
- Cowboy Boots- not everyday-wear shoes, but can be very chic when matched well
- Ankle Boots- very fashionable; heeled ones can create length to your outfit(personally love matching it with jeans)
6. Ballet Flats
- A very adorable look
- When matched with jeans/shorts, it is casual cute
- When matched with a dress or skirt, it is dressy cute
7. Sandals
- Very summary and cute
- can be fancy when matched well
- most of the time, it is either casual, or dressy casual
8. Close-toed Unique Designs
- Canvas- casual; has a musician feel to it
- Moccasins- casual; sometimes only to be worn inside the house
- Oxford- dressy, formal, and fashionable
- Loafers- casual, but is able to be formally worn when matched right
- Sperry's/Boat Shoes- casual, but can become dressier when matched with fancier clothing pieces
